Whilst we want you to be happy with the products you have received from us, we understand that sometimes items aren’t quite right for you, whatever the reason.

 

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

 


UK RETURNS

  • Items can be returned within 28 days of receipt of your order.
  • Returned item(s) can be tried on for sizing but not worn for activity, soiled, or damaged in any way and must be 'as sold'. In the unlikely event that an item is returned to us in an unsuitable condition, we will return it to you.
  • Due to the oversized nature of our Dog Bed & Cushion Dog Bed, our Royal Mail Free Tracked Returns Label will not cover the return postage fee. If you wish to create a return for this item, please contact the Customer Service Team who will advise you on how to do this. 
  • You do not need to contact us to notify us of your return unless the item is faulty or is outside of our 28- day policy. This excludes our Dog Beds which do require you to contact our customer service team prior to your return.
  • Goods must be packaged securely to ensure they are not damaged in transit.
  • The responsibility and liability of the goods remains with you until our warehouse is in receipt of the goods.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for items bought from one of our stockists. You must return the item for a refund or exchange via the store it was purchased from.
  • All returns must be sent using the return form included with your original delivery.  If you have lost the returns form, please download and print one from here.
  • All returns must include your ‘LC’ order reference number and any applicable contact information, either on the outer package, or enclosed alongside the item. Please note, your order number begins with ‘LC’.  Failure to add this may result in a delay in processing your return and refund.
  • You will receive your refund to your original payment method within 10- 15 days from the day you return your item.
  • Personalised or embossed products cannot be returned or exchanged, please see our Terms and Conditions.
  • We offer free UK returns via our Royal Mail Tracked service. You can return your Le Chameau order for FREE via one of 10,500 Post Offices. Your item will be fully tracked on its way back to us.
  • Make sure you use the pre-printed label enclosed in your delivery.
  • If your label is lost or missing, please visit here to print another one. If you do not have access to a printer, your local Post Office can print the label for you.
  • Ensure you include all tags with your return and package securely.
  • All returns must include our order reference number and any applicable contact information. If you have lost your orignal returns form, you can download a new one here.
  • Create your FREE returns label. Enter your order number and delivery address to create your label and then simply drop off the parcel at your local Post Office. If you do not have access to a printer your local post office can print the label for you. If the Royal Mail website is not accessible, please try again later.
  • Please obtain proof of postage.

Royal Mail

Only orders that meet the following conditions may be returned using the Royal Mail Tracked returns:

  • Returned parcels must have specific dimensions no larger than L61 cm x W 46cm x D 46cm.
  • Returned parcels must weigh no more than 20KG.
  • No aerosols or combustible products.
  • Do not affix the Royal Mail returns label to the product packaging (shoe boxes etc).
  • Please note, if you are returning one of our dog beds, you will need to contact our Customer Service Team to arrange your return.
  • If you would prefer to return your products direct to us via other means, you can do, however please note: you must include your original ‘LC’ order number and returns form included in your delivery.  We strongly recommend you use a service that provides a certificate of postage and a tracking number.  If you choose this method please be aware, we will not refund any postage fees, except if the item(s) is/are faulty or if you have received an incorrect product.

UK EXCHANGES & GIFT EXCHANGES

  • Please note, exchanges are subject to availability.
  • If you require an exchange, please follow the returns process above.
  • Customers exchanging goods will not be charged the delivery charge on their new order.
  • If your requested exchange is not in stock, we will process a refund for your item(s) as per our standard returns policy.
  • If you would prefer a quick exchange, and you see that your requested item(s) is/are in stock on our website, please place a new order for the item(s). This will guarantee you receive the size/ style you require. Then please return your original item(s) free of charge for a full refund.
  • Gift Exchanges - If you are returning a gift that you have received and would like to exchange it, we can only exchange for the same item in a different size/colour, subject to availability. If an exchange is not possible, we will process a refund for your item(s) as per our standard returns policy to the original buyer.

How long do I have to return my item for a refund or exchange?

You have 28 days from the date of purchase to receive a full refund or exchange. Please note items purchased from lechameau.com must remain unworn with their original packaging to qualify for a refund or exchange.

Can I return an item for a refund or exchange purchased from one of your stockists?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for items bought from one of our stockists. You must return the item for a refund or exchange via the store it was purchased from.

 

My item is faulty, what do I do?

Here at Le Chameau, we pride ourselves on our craftsmanship and endeavour to quality control our items at every stage but sometimes even our eagle eyes may miss something. If you feel that your Le Chameau item is not to the standard you expect from us, please get in touch with our customer service team. If your item is found to have a manufacturing fault, we will replace your item.
